On February 5, a ceremonial event dedicated to the motto of 2026 - “Independent permanently neutral Turkmenistan − homeland of purposeful heavenly horses” was held at Istanbul Medipol University.
The event was attended by the Consul General of Turkmenistan in Istanbul O.Jumanazarov, members of the university’s leadership and academic staff, as well as Turkmen students studying at higher education institutions in the Republic of Türkiye.
In their speeches, the participants emphasized the significance of the proclaimed motto for further strengthening the sovereignty of Turkmenistan and enhancing its international standing. It was noted that the profound symbolism of the image of winged steeds embodies the country’s dynamic development, high aspirations, and commitment to the future.
Representatives of Istanbul Medipol University, in turn, highlighted the high level and dynamic development of Turkmen–Turkish relations and expressed their interest in further expanding cooperation in the fields of education and science.
Within the framework of the event, Turkmen diplomats also held a separate meeting with Turkmen students studying at Istanbul Medipol University, during which issues related to education and youth participation in social and cultural life were discussed.
