Development of international cooperation in the education system of Turkmenistan opens up broad opportunities for students to undergo practical training in the world’s leading educational centers. A vivid example of this is the programs implemented on the basis of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between International University for the Humanities and Development (IUHD) and Kent State University (USA).
In accordance with this agreement, students of the International University for the Humanities and Development undergo summer internship and training courses at the branch of Kent State University in the Italian city of Florence – a recognized historical and cultural center. These classes not only allow students to deepen their theoretical knowledge but also open up great prospects for improving practical skills in their respective fields within an international environment.
Florence, with its rich history, culture, and art, is considered one of the world’s main scientific, educational, and cultural hubs. The summer education organized in such an inspiring atmosphere provides students with the opportunity to exchange experiences with peers from different corners of the globe, improve their foreign language skills, and broaden their personal horizons. As part of the curriculum, students study modern approaches applicable to their future professions and attend lectures by international-level professors.
This summer internship of the students of the International University for the Humanities and Development in Italy is a clear testament to the fact that Turkmen youth are keeping pace with global science and education. Such effective cooperation between higher education institutions stands as an important step in preparing internationally competitive, broad-minded, and highly skilled specialists for our country. All this is a fruitful result of the great deeds carried out by the Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar to strengthen international cooperation in the field of science and education.
